The circular kitchen featured here is the proud red dot design award winner of 2006. The revolutionary clever kitchen is compact and has all the conveniences of a conventional kitchen. The upper circular shelf rotates through 360 degrees to house crockery, glasses, etc. and it has its own lighting, electrical sockets, electronics, water and waste disposal.
This compact circular kitchen takes up about 20 square feet (less than 1.8 square meters) of floor space and yet it contains everything - including the kitchen sink (stainless steel with a single-handle faucet). Also included are drawers, drawers, shelving, lighting and electrical outlets, and a trash can. If desired, it can be outfitted with all the typical kitchen appliances, such as refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, cook top, microwave-oven combo and range hood. 
Decorating a kitchen is always a challenge and this one’s no exception. You’ll have to choose from a wide range of colors, countertops, kitchen equipment and more.
The inner core rotates 180 degrees and is equipped with a stainless steel sink with chrome single lever mixer, a waste bin and drawers. The cook top of the kitchen is only functional with sliding doors completely opened. The designer Alfred Averbeck says, though the kitchen is compact in design but it contains the equivalent of 12 cupboards from a conventional kitchen.
